And then there were 12 Puppies! SURPRISE!

Well, this litter of puppies has been quite the surprise. We now have 12 puppies . . . born on 3 different days! Black puppy #3 was born during the night and she seems to be doing just fine! The first puppy was born late Saturday evening and the last was sometime Monday morning! What a fun surprise to find this morning (but we're hoping that's it . . . this is a big litter for a first time momma!) 

Mya and all 12 puppies seem to be doing great! Here are some pictures we took last night. I'll try to get some more today with the additional puppy! Enjoy the puppy pictures!

Eleven New Puppies!!

We have exciting news . . . . there are 11 new puppies at Top of the Hill Labs! Mya had a very busy evening with the first puppy arriving at 10:50 p.m.. Throughout the night a puppy was born almost every hour. She took a break for few hours and then delivered her last puppy at 11:00 this morning!

All of the puppies are doing great and Mya is doing an awesome job of caring for all 11 puppies. 

The big surprise was the color of these puppies . . . 9  yellow puppies and 2 black puppies (no chocolates!) We'll plan to post a photo yet this evening or tomorrow morning along with details of sex/color. Stay tuned!

We're Expecting Puppies This Spring!

Great News . . . . We’re Expecting Puppies this Spring!
 We are expecting a litter of puppies early in May from our yellow female, Mya, and our chocolate male, Maverick.  We will expect to have yellow and chocolate puppies from this litter.

Meet the Parents . . . Mya is a beautiful yellow lab with a fun-loving disposition. She is a very loyal and loving part of our family. Mya enjoys having her belly rubbed and playing with our other dogs on our farm (she is about 65 pounds). Maverick is an impressive-looking male with a laid back temperament. Everyone loves his blocky head, large body size (just over 100 pounds) and gentle personality. He enjoys spending his days relaxing on our deck and has been the sire of three healthy litters.

Interested in a Puppy?  A limited number of deposits will be accepted. Please let us know if you are interested in making a deposit. You can make a deposit using PayPal, cash or check. Please e-mail or call to discuss your interest (sex/color of puppy) and plans for making a deposit.

Each of our Labrador puppies will come fully papered through AKC. All of our puppies will have a complete health check by our vet as well as first shots and will be wormed three times. We ask $550/pup regardless of sex or color. If you would like to hold a puppy in your name we do require a $100 non-refundable deposit. The balance of $450 is due when you come to take your puppy home. We accept cash or check for any deposit or final payment.
