Willow's puppies are now five weeks old and doing great! They are eating regular puppy food now and are almost completely weaned. All nine puppies will be heading to the vet on Friday, January 24th and will then be ready to head to new homes. We hope you enjoy these photos we took this morning
(Note - there are 10 puppies in this pen now. A black female from Mya's litter is going to a home with a black female from this litter - so they're all hanging out together until next weekend!)

WILLOW'S PUPPIES - Moved to the House!
While Willow's puppies have been doing fine in our barn, with the sub-zero temperatures and -40 windchill yesterday and today we decided it would be best to move the little ones to our basement. Puppies were loaded inside our coats to keep them warm as we moved from the barn to the house. They are now all settled in our basement and we'll start the weaning process more quickly than expected (they had already been eating some puppy food, thank goodness!) Being an outside dog, we'll bring Willow to the puppies as needed to nurse and once the weather improves we'll hope to move them back to their pen outside. We're ready for Spring here on the farm!!
