Three Weeks Old

It's hard to believe that our puppies will be 3 weeks old tomorrow! They all have their eyes open and are walking all over the place. They have the cutest little barks and can be quite noisy when they all start "howling" to get Gracie's attention. They still love to cuddle together when they sleep - just adorable!

Ice Storm Hits NW Ohio

Just wanted to post a quick update to let everyone know that the puppies are doing fine. Although our house is still without electricity due to the recent ice-storm, we've moved the puppies in by the fireplace and they seem quite happy. Between a hot fire and the generator we're surviving the storm but hope the power comes back on soon!

Since I'm at a borrowed computer for a few hours I can't post any photos, but wanted to let you know that all of the puppies have their eyes open and are walking around. Adorable! We'll hope to have power back soon and somehow get some photos posted.

Puppy Photos - Males and Females

What a difference a few days make in the life of a puppy! Just yesterday some of the puppies were up on all four legs trying to walk around and the corners of their eyes are just starting to open up. It won't be long and we'll have 11 puppies running all around their puppy box!

The puppies were born from 10:08 PM Saturday evening until 8:03 AM Sunday morning. A long night for Gracie (and us), but so exciting! The puppies and Gracie are all doing just fine.

Birth Announcement - 11 puppies!

It's been a long night, but we're pleased to announce the birth of 11 healthy puppies! As of 8:03 this morning we have 5 yellow pups and 6 black pups and Gracie is doing just fine (other than looking pretty exhausted!) We'll post more details online later today. Congratulations to all of the families planning to adopt one of these adorable puppies.

A Puppy is Born . . . and another, and another!

Welcome to our first few puppies! Gracie delivered her first puppy at 10:08 Saturday evening. As of 2:00 a.m. we have 5 puppies. We'll post another update in the morning with pictures later in the day. Stay tuned! What an exciting evening!
