3 Weeks Old - Puppy Food, Yum!

Our puppies are now 3 weeks old and yesterday had their first taste of soft puppy food.  For these early feedings, we soak puppy food in warm water to make it soft and they love it! The puppy's teeth are coming in and as you can see they really got into their food. We hope you enjoy the photos!

Our Eyes Are Open!

Our puppies have had a busy week. They turned 2 weeks old on Wednesday and received their first dose of wormer.  By Wednesday night, all of the puppies had their eyes open and were starting to walk around. It's crazy how fast they grow!

Note - We're not sure why, but one of the yellow females from this litter of puppies passed away late last week.  She was a big, healthy looking puppy - not sure the cause.  Sad.  The other 10 puppies are doing great and eye should be open in just a few days!

Eleven Puppies on the Farm

 

 

 

We're pleased to announce the birth of 11 new puppies on the farm! The puppies were born on October 8, 2014 from 9:00 a.m. until about 10:00 p.m. - a long day for Willow! Willow and her puppies are all doing great. The puppies are eating, sleeping and eating some more. Here's what the new litter looks like:

Yellow Lab Puppies: 4 females, 3 males

Black Lab Puppies: 2 females, 1 male

Chocolate Lab Puppies: 1 male

Welcome New Puppies!

It's a boy and a girl . . . and a girl . . . and ???

We're happy to announce we have new puppies arriving today! Willow delivered her first puppy at 9:00 this morning and she's now at #5. It's a busy day watching Willow and puppies but everyone seems to be doing just fine.

Here's a picture we took of Willow last night (looking pretty uncomfortable) and a few of her with puppies this morning.
